JetNet 3708-24V is an 8-port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch with 4-port IEEE 802.3af PoE injectors. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af standard for End-Span, JetNet 3708-24V has an alternative A wiring architecture and can deliver 51.8 watts power to four PD devices with 12.59 watts consumption. Each device automatically performs 4 PoE processes - Detection, Classification, Powering and Disconnection. The compact size with steel and aluminum alloy metal enclosure allows JetNet 3708-24V survive under -10~60℃ wide operating temperature range.

For Bus/Railway PoE
JetNet 3708-24V is designed with Korenix patented DC 24V to 48V boost technology for vehicle PoE applications where DC 48V power supply is not available. The 24V operating voltage is supplied through a plug-in terminal block. JetNet 3708-24V provides fast, easy and cost-effective solution for configuring PoE networks on transportation and automation applications. It also provides more Ethernet ports for the data transmission of other systems, such as real-time station information, vehicle advertisement and position reporting system (GPS & GPRS). |

Application
Following figure shows a typical application of JetNet 3708-24V on vehicles with IP cameras installed inside to provide passenger security, carriage advertisement, GPS and GPRS tracking for real-time driving route monitoring.
